AK 640 K

With a new, even more powerful main drive, the robust chain drive, and the 7.5-meter long rear conveyor with a discharge height of over 5 meters, the AK 640 K is designed for the highest demands.

Specials

The fine shredder AK 640 K is equipped with a completely new stainless steel exhaust system. The exhaust after-treatment system is optimally thermally shielded using integral insulation. An increase in performance (20 kW and 200 Nm) is provided by the optimized diesel engine from MTU. It has a rated output of 480 kW and fully meets the latest Stage V emissions standard for non-road vehicles.

The successor model to the AK 635 K is distinguished by its highest shredding performance. The AK 640 K can process even very large input materials and is moved by a chain drive. If necessary, it is available in an off-road chassis variant, which increases off-road capability with even more ground clearance. The 3,500 mm wide feed hopper with a loading height of 2.220 m, as well as the 7.5 m long and 1.5 m wide discharge conveyor with a discharge height of over 5 m, makes the AK 640 K the perfect solution for a wide range of requirements.

The Doppstadt AK 640 K is suitable for a very wide range of materials, such as the shredding of reclaimed wood, wooden pallets, green waste, organic waste, or log and root wood.

The separate drive of the scraper floor and the pendulum-mounted feed roller ensures optimized material feed. The standard lowering rear conveyor, high diagnostic capability, and easy exchangeability of components provide the AK 640 K with high maintenance friendliness.

Benefits

  • Single-person operation (remote control of all functions), machine movement via chain drive, high mobility in rough terrain (optionally available with 200 mm higher off-road chassis)
  • Continuous shredding through load-regulated material feed, resistant to contaminants due to freely swinging hammers
  • Latest engine and exhaust technology, compliance with Stage V emissions standard
  • Exhaust system made entirely of stainless steel
  • Standard 7.5 m long lowerable rear conveyor (discharge height over 5 m) enables shortest setup times and highest accessibility and maintenance friendliness to the hammer drum, tools, or rear basket
  • Separate drive of the scraper floor and pendulum-mounted feed roller for optimal material feed and high throughput
  • Freely swinging hammers of the hammer drum, with an inertia mass of approximately 2.5 tons, have quickly individually replaceable hammer tips, which are material-specific (e.g., carbide or armored tips)
  • Special baskets with 3D technology for reclaimed wood use for more structure in the end product (*optional)
