Process description
Shredding: Shredding aids material separation and paves the way for the subsequent processing steps.
Magnet: Separator for separating out ferrous metals such as coarse or fine iron scrap by means of an overband magnet.
Splitting: Splitting is the most robust separation process on the market, perfect for a heterogeneous, partly entangled material such as this.
Screening: A trommel screener is sufficient for secondary screening. It discharges the fine particles that would otherwise contaminate the wind sifter light fraction.
Wind Sifting: High-density materials generally have worse combustion properties. They are separated to increase the calorific value of the remaining light fraction.
